Restaurant Review: High Noon Saloon & Brewery

After landing at the Kansas City International Airport, mom and me took the back roads to Leavenworth for dinner.

After being on the plane for just about three hours from Portland back to Kansas City International as Topeka Regional Airport, better known as Forbes Field was closed. Mom and me went on a road trip through Weston, Missouri before backtracking and stopping in Leavenworth, Kansas for dinner.

Upon entering the restaurant the atmosphere was very warm and had a great western feel for making it like an old days saloon. While I was hungry, the menu had a handful of offerings. I went with an order of the patty melt minus the onion with marble rye bread with a side of “Sidewinder Fries”. Mom had a basket of sweet potato fries. My sandwich was cooked throughly as it was tender, the bread was fresh and the fries were seasoned perfectly even with their interesting shape. Mom’s fries were not excessively sweet but tender.

My mom stated that she would have liked to try one of their crafted beers but there was no prices on the menu. Other than this for the value of the meal, the food turned out to be exceptional.
